If you say their names the crowd will cheer so loud you cannot hear a single thing… nick, joe, kevin we love you! Who could it be? None other than the Jonases! This tour not only has a longer name, but a longer line of cast and crew. Jonas Brothers world tour 2010 camp rock 2 the Final Jam featuring Demi Lovato and the Cast of Camp Rock 2! Wow try saying that 5 times fast.
The Jonases hit the stage again after a year of many amazing accomplishments. Some include Kevin’s marrage to the beautiful Danielle, Joe’s trip to africa, and let’s not forget Nick Jonas who hit the brodway stage as young rebel Marius in the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables. This year the boys also released the new season in their hit show JONAS L.A and headed back to Toronto to film Camp rock 2 the Final Jam. The tour was something that fans could refer to as a good old Jonas concert with all 3 Jonases, as so many new things have taken flight separately.
Last night, a rainy night in Toronto I was lucky enough to see the concert. The very talented Alyson Stoner took the stage first and sang her new song ’Make History’. Shortly after the Camp Rock cast, including Jordan Fransis, Roshon Fegan, Anna Maria Perez De Tagle and the lovely Demi lovato hit the stage opening with the very catchy song ‘Start The Party’… and surely the party was started! Demi graced the the fans with some songs of hers opening with ‘La La Land’ I was mesmerized. Not to mention the fire, smoke, sparks and special lazers. After a short intermission the Camp Rock cast came back for some new songs such as ’Brand New Day’ and ‘It’s On’. I grabed a bottle of water as I was screaming at the top of my lungs… knowing that when I got back my 3 favourite preformers were to be there. The opening for the Jonases was their new song ‘Feelin’ Alive’ and we were! Mikayla and I watched as the boys came through the screen and into the ampitheatre… all I can say is… WOW, those boys can really make an entry. Some of my favourite moments were ’Introducing Me’ , (and by the way nick did the song with 3 seconds to spare in the 2:17 time limit!) Who I am, Paranoid, Lovebug (petals were amazing!) and BOUNCE! Last night and for that night only the boys and Demi preformed BOUNCE with full on costumes and dances. They had the whole croud BOUNCing! Of course the boys did Burning up… and everyone knows that it means goodbye.
It was a great show and the boys never fail to dissapoint. I’m sad it’s over because I know it means that summer is comming to an end. But todays and Brand New Day and not only does Camp Rock 2 premiere but I can say that my summer is complete.

To paraphrase a line from The Who’s Won’t Get Fooled Again, meet the old JB who once was the new JB.
In a year where the new JB – Justin Bieber – has been nothing short of “swaggerific” in terms of popularity and ticket sales, the old JB – Jonas Brothers – almost seem dated.
But that hasn’t stopped them from cashing in as was the case during the first of two nights at Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre before a near-capacity crowd of shrieking young girls Thursday evening.
Over the 90-minute set, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas looked a tad more reserved than previous tours that saw them frenetically working the stage when not doing the odd back flips and kicks. On this night, it appeared to be far more about pacing, with a few of them taking breathers while Nick Jonas had his spotlight moment with Who I Am.
Regardless, the Jonas Brothers – who managed to plug the hell out of their new film Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam with ads, posters, t-shirts and several mentions – were seamless early on with Feelin’ Alive and the punchy dance-rock of Hold On drowning out the mind-numbing screams.
Working on a stage that featured three catwalks jutting into the audience, laser lights, a large video screen and a temporarily malfunctioning dry ice machine, Jonas Brothers polished off Year 3000 and Play My Music before delving into new songs from the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack. Heart And Soul featured several dancers behind them (including two fans) while Introducing Me had Nick Jonas rapidly delivering the three-minute song in under 137 seconds to win a bet with brother Joe.
The middle section had its miscues but was highlighted when opener Demi Lovato sang with Joe Jonas on I Wouldn’t Change A Thing, a tune Faith Hill and Tim McGraw might consider covering at some point. And after covering The Beatles’ Drive My Car, they nailed L.A. Baby as younger brother Frankie Jonas, 9, sang with Kevin and played tambourine.
After looking around at the dozens of home-made posters the young fans were proudly showing – something the new JB reportedly wasn’t allowing at his Air Canada Centre show last month – Jonas Brothers hit a rough patch with a hip-hop segment that was basically filling time. Dancers and a deejay came onstage as Nick and Joe emerged in costume, the latter resembling a youthful Andre Agassi with long locks.
Occasionally letting fans take over the lead vocals, Jonas Brothers started to wrap things up with the piano-driven Fly With Me, a song which had the trio suspended on a small platform looking down on the crowd. From there the power ballad When You Look Me In The Eyes and Please Be Mine (which showed baby photos of them on the video screen) led into an odd ’40s-era backdrop with four dancing couples for Lovebug.
Returning for the encore which ended with Burnin’ Up – and enough pyrotechnics that would make Nickelback somewhat envious – Jonas Brothers left the fans temporarily forgetting about that other JB.

NEW YORK — The Jonas Brothers and friends are helping to revive an 80-year-old movie tradition. It’s called: “Let’s put on a show!”
This talented troupe — the three Jonas siblings Joe, Nick and Kevin, along with performing friends from Demi Lovato to Alyson Stoner, Canadian rapper Jordan (J) Francis and even nine-year-old Jonas brother Frankie — are getting better at it, both on-stage and on-screen. In the midst of a Jonas world tour that introduces the songs and dances of Camp Rock 2, this Disney-made movie is coming to TV and home entertainment.
Coincidentally, just as the live tour hits Toronto and Montreal this week, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam makes its TV debut Friday (8 p.m. on the Family Channel in Canada). On Tuesday, the upbeat musical debuts on home entertainment. One option is a stand-alone DVD. There is also a combo pack combining a Blu-ray, DVD, digital copy and expanded extras. This is an Extended Edition with two bonus musical numbers plus other behind-the-scenes material from the location shoot in Toronto and Ontario.
Camp Rock 2 is far superior to the 2008 original. All the performers know it.
“This movie is so much better than the first, by far,” says Stoner, who plays the character Caitlyn.
“It is, I agree with you,” admits Meaghan Martin, a nice girl who plays the difficult diva Tess. “We had a bigger budget. Honestly, that does make a difference. And we knew what we were doing. We had already done it once so coming back and doing it again was pretty simple. I think that had a lot to do with it. We were more organized. We knew what worked and what didn’t work. And this one also focuses more on the music. And, to be frank, that is most of our cast’s stronger talent.”
Indeed, everyone in the Camp Rock movies does their own singing, dancing and acting — with acting third on the list. Enter the Jonas Brothers. They were a novelty act in the original. Now they are integrated into the plot.
“A lot has changed,” says Joe Jonas, on a whirlwind day of interviews in Manhattan, after a New Jersey concert appearance and before they prepared for Thursday’s first live show in Toronto (7 p.m. at the Molson Amphitheatre). “I think, individually, all the cast have had the opportunity to do more.”
With the Jonases, Joe notes that the first season of their own Disney show followed the original Camp Rock. Plus they have branched out, including solo projects. “So we’ve all had individual experiences in which we’re grown personally. Kevin, he found somebody he will spend the rest of his life with. We’re all a little bit older.”
As for Camp Rock 2 specifically, Joe says: “With the storyline and the way they were able to build it up, it showed they were able to grow our characters a little bit.”
Kevin’s on-screen clowning has blossomed. “I try to do my best. I enjoy it. I had a really good time and I hope that people will find it funny and not out of control,” he says.
Nick gets romantic time on-screen with newcomer Chloe Bridges, who teaches him about honest communication in a relationship. Nick delivers his sentiments in a song.
“The first time I heard the song it was a real challenge because it was so off the wall,” says Nick. “But it was explained to me as a kind of Adam Sandler moment.”
Lovato, the most difficult Camp Rock interview, is nonetheless dedicated to the new movie. She knows it has more emotion.
“I put emotion into everything that I do,” she says. “This is just a great opportunity to express myself once again. I had a great time shooting the movie. I thought that we could bring back musicals to the younger demographic.”
So, you got it, they put on a show!
Lovato learns lesson the hard way
For Demi Lovato, fame as a Demi-goddess has given her a bitter lesson.
“Yeah, I mean, I’ve learned my lesson,” the 18-year-old says with a clipped tone in an interview during which she made it obvious she would prefer to be somewhere else. “Saying too much and getting your words twisted around is never fun. So I kind of say less now … and enjoy it more.”
Lovato describes her on-stage and on-screen career as “a Cinderella Story” because her fame as an actress, singer and dancer has gone so far beyond her original modest expectations.
“I kind of rose from nothing to where I am today,” says the star of the Camp Rock franchise and another Disney project, the TV series Sonny with a Chance. Camp Rock 2 is debuting now on television and home entertainment.
With the fame, however, there is media scrutiny. She does not mention it but her romantic relationship with Jonas Brother Joe became fodder for tabloid speculation, especially after they split up — but remained friends. Lovato is on the current Jonas Brothers world tour as the special guest.
Lovato has blunt advice for other rising stars: “I’d advise them to try to keep your personal life as private as possible. That’s the best thing you can do, because ‘they’ can’t bring you down as easily. And stay out of the tabloids. And talk about your work, because that’s why you’re in it, unless you’re somebody who wants to be famous for the wrong reasons.”

“Twilight Saga” beauty Ashley Greene has been alleged driving Joe Jonas crazy to make sure he stays interested. A friend of Ashley recently shared to Heat magazine that the 23-year-old “really likes” the middle member of the Jonas Brothers, but she is determined not letting him get cozy just yet.
Stressing that Ashley likes Joe a lot, the so-called friend added, “But she knows she can’t give in too easily or he’ll move on. She’s been pretty aloof and it’s driving Joe crazy.”
It was said that the Alice Cullen depicter has come up with a tactic to keep him around by only returning every third text and every other call.
On how Joe is reacting towards her hard-to-get attitude, the pal said that Ashley’s effort is working since the former boyfriend of Demi Lovato is waiting on her every word
. “He’ll say something like, ‘About time!’ when she does answer, and he’s got this joking tone, but we all know he was waiting for her with baited breath,” the friend explained. “It’s pretty cute.”
Ashley and Joe have played it coy when it comes to their rumored romance. The twosome were first linked romantically when she was seen taking the 20-year-old hunk to the Kings of Leon concert in London in early July. After spotted going out together on several occasion, they were snapped locking lips on August 20 while out shopping and grabbing meal together in SoHo, New York.
